Guernsey graduates are being encouraged to find out more about a career at Ipes. The locally founded fund services firm is holding a graduate drop in evening at its St Peter Port offices at the end of this month.
The event is designed to help local graduates find out more informally about the opportunities the company has to offer. Experienced professionals and a-level leavers are also welcome to attend.
Ipes’ HR Manager Teresa Jackson-Gulliou says, “We hope to see a number of students who are due to complete their studies this summer or who may have already graduated but haven’t yet decided on their career. The evening is an opportunity for local graduates who want to return to the island to find out more about our business”.
Ipes currently offers a 12 month graduate programme during which successful applicants undertake a series of work placements with teams across the business. They benefit from a combination of formal and on the job training and receive support from a mentor. At the end of the placement they will be appointed to a team on a permanent basis and commence study for a professional qualification.
The drop in evening is on 27 March 2012 at Ipes’ offices, 1 Royal Plaza, St Peter Port, Guernsey from 5pm until 8pm. To register email: firstname.lastname@example.org or just drop in on the evening.
