Ipes, a leading provider of outsourced services to private equity in Europe, has been recognised as Fund Administrator of the Year at the 2017 Private Equity Awards.
Now in their sixteenth year, the awards recognise those in the private equity industry and those who advise it.
Ipes’ submission focused on its innovation and leadership to support the private equity industry, as demonstrated by the launch of The ID Register.
The ID Register is an online platform for connected due diligence, centralised KYC, FATCA and Investor Reporting. It enables investors to create one complete KYC and FATCA profile and share it securely, making CDD quicker, easier and more cost effective.
The ID Register was created by Ipes in response to frustration in the industry at the lengthy paper based CDD processes. It has the ability to combine data with multi-jurisdictional reporting for FATCA and CRS, delivering an efficient, cost effective package that will report the right information, at the right time, to the right jurisdiction.
The judges commented, "Ipes is our winner in recognition of its development and use of technology. "They have carefully thought about how to tailor their offering to client needs."
Chris Merry, Ipes’ Chief Executive says, "We are delighted to have won this award and would like to thank our clients for their support. Winning in this category is testament to the commitment and dedication of the whole Ipes team. Everyone has worked hard to achieve this award and I am proud Ipes has been recognised in this way."
The awards ceremony took place at The Park Lane Hotel in London on 19 April 2017.
