Ipes Guernsey has chosen the Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation at its partner charity for 2016.
The Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation was set up by three times World Touring Car Champion Andy Priaulx MBE and his wife Jo in 2003 following the premature births of both of their children. Andy and Jo felt that the support they received during and after each birth was amazing and this inspired them to form the Foundation.
The Foundation provides support to families in a numbers of ways including purchasing equipment for the local neonatal unit and accommodation in Southampton for families receiving treatment at Southampton General Hospital.
Chris Merry, Ipes’ Chief Executive says "We are looking forward to working with The Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation, a charity that was chosen by our staff. Over a number of charity days during the year we will be raising funds and hope our support can make a difference."
Jo Priaulx, Founder of The Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation says, "We are absolutely thrilled that Ipes Guernsey has made us their partner charity for the coming year. Receiving support like this will play an important part in helping us reach our long-term goal of purchasing The Burrow, and we would like to thank staff members for their enthusiasm and willingness to fundraise for us!"
The charity has raised more than £250,000 since 2003.
The Foundation’s latest fundraising campaign "The Burrow" aims to raise £150,000 by 2017 to buy an additional property near to Southampton General Hospital.
