Ipes Group, a leading provider of outsourced services to Private Equity in Europe, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jim Faulds (pictured right) as Chairman.
Jim is an experienced Non Executive Director and Chairman. He spent his executive career in advertising, founding Faulds Advertising, and growing it to become Scotland's largest advertising agency in 2002, when he exited from the business. Since then, Jim has served as Chairman and Non Executive Director on the boards of a number of listed and private equity backed companies including Wood Mackenzie and Giles Insurance Brokers. He currently chairs Change Recruitment and Jumpstart.
Jim succeeds Pernille Fabricius, who has been Chair of the Ipes Group since the business was acquired in 2013 by Silverfleet Capital, a pan European private equity firm. Pernille is stepping down from the Ipes Group Board to focus on her newly appointed role as CFO of Getinge Group, the global Swedish medical technology business.
Chris Merry, Chief Executive (pictured left), commented, "I am delighted to welcome Jim to the Board of Ipes as the business continues to see strong growth. Jim will be a great asset in view of his previous experience in building a customer focused business and working with a variety of growth businesses in different sectors. I would like to thank Pernille for her contribution to Ipes over the past three years."
Jim Faulds said, "I am very pleased to join the Board of Ipes. The business has an excellent reputation and ambitious growth plans and I look forward to working on further developing the business."
