Ipes' Group Head of HR Rosanne Spurrier is retiring after more than 14 years with the Company.
Rosanne joined Ipes in 1998 as one of the five founding team members when the Company was established in Guernsey.
During her time at Ipes and particularly in the early years Rosanne fulfilled a number of roles meeting each new challenge with enthusiasm.
Being at the helm of Ipes’ HR Department she led the Company to become a Platinum accredited ACCA Employer and oversaw the launch of the Ipes Bursary Scheme, which a number of local students are benefiting from.
Rosanne also contributed to the local community through setting up and supporting Ipes’ sponsorship of The World Aid Walk. A popular island event that Ipes has now sponsored for 12 years.
Ipes’ Chief Executive Kevin Brennan says, “In both her work where she demonstrated her leadership and commitment and to her efforts supporting the local community Rosanne has been a great ambassador for Ipes.”
“Rosanne played a key role in the company’s development and success. She oversaw a number of milestones in the business and will be missed by us all. We wish her a happy retirement and hope she now has time to enjoy her many pursuits” Kevin Brennan concludes.
Since Rosanne joined in 1998, Ipes has expanded and whilst still headquartered in Guernsey now has three more fully operational offices in London, Luxembourg and Jersey. Ipes employs more than 130 people and manages in excess of $50bn assets on behalf of clients.
Rosanne says, “Ipes will always be close to my heart as an employee who was there from the beginning it has been fantastic to see the business grow and along the way I have had many career highlights. I am now looking forward to being able to spend more time on the ski slopes and fulfilling other life ambitions whilst spending more time with my family and grandchildren.”
