New Business Assistant Manager - Luxembourg

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Manager/Senior Manager in the day to day running of the take on team
  • Prepare and review regulatory applications as part of the General Partner and Fund set-up process
  • Coordinate with other service providers for the set-up of entities (banks, notaries, lawyers, advisors, etc.)
  • Review and comment on client documents including LPAs and other agreements
  • Draft services agreements at take-on
  • Act as a first point of contact for client enquiries and to deliver a professional and competent response
  • Assist with the production and review of New Promoter files, checklists and collation of information required to obtain compliance approval
  • All work undertaken complies with the Fund’s documentation and relevant regulatory requirements and anti-money laundering regulations
  • To successfully on-board clients within the launch deadline meeting client take-on expectations
  • Ensure smooth handover to Operations team (after or before first closing as appropriate)
  • Track and update new business from existing clients
  • To achieve the objectives and initiatives set by and agreed with the New Business Manager from time to time
  • Look for opportunities to create new procedures or improve existing processes including a sound knowledge of all services offered by Ipes and its subsidiaries
  • Follow Company procedures at all times
  • Liaise confidently and knowledgably with the clients daily

  • Understand and execute delegated elements of new business processes
  • Preparation and convening of board meetings, draft minutes and table all relevant documents
  • Prepare payments of fees and expenses
  • Undertake company secretarial tasks
  • Respond to client queries
  • Undertake general administration tasks for the team’s client base
  • Maintain the various registers for the team's clients
  • Help on matters relating to customer due diligence
  • Basic understanding of bookkeeping/accounting
  • Good numeracy and IT skills
