Andrew Whittaker - Managing Director, UK
Andrew is the Managing Director for Ipes in the UK. He is responsible for the overall management and development of the London office.
Andrew joined Ipes in January 2011 from Capita Financial Group’s Specialist Fund Services division where, as Managing Director, he led teams specialising in Real Estate, Private Equity, Investment Companies, Offshore Hedge Funds, Taxation and DTP; whilst also providing scalable back office support to the Group’s Guernsey, Jersey and Gibraltar offices.
He has a career of working with the Fund industry and has extensive experience of onshore/offshore vehicles, open and closed and traditional and alternative funds. He has worked in London, Dusseldorf, Paris and the Channel Islands, and with various jurisdictions worldwide.
Andrew graduated from Cardiff University and is a Chartered Management Accountant. He is a member of the Association of Investment Companies’ (AIC) Technical Committee and the Association of Real Estate Funds’ (AREF) Regulatory Committee.

Mary McGuirke - Operations Director, UK
Mary is the Operations Director for Ipes UK having joined the company in July 2011.
She has worked in Financial Services for over 20 years, holding senior roles at Santander, Capita Financial Group and Britannia Building Society. As Head of Private Equity Operations for Capita’s Specialist Fund Services division, she led a team which serviced a large number of Private Equity clients including Investment Trusts and Venture Capital Trusts. The team provided back office support and administration for both UK and Guernsey domiciled vehicles.
Whilst at Santander, Mary worked within ANTS heading up the management accounting function for Structured Corporate Banking, which included Private Equity, Infrastructure, Acquisition and Project Finance.
Mary is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant. She is also a Board Director of Ipes (UK) Limited and FSA Approved person.
