Caroline Ferguson - Operations Director, London
Caroline Ferguson is the Operations Director for Ipes UK, she joined the UK Company in 2006 in order to establish and grow the London office.
She is responsible for the client relationship management and growth of the London office, as well as having an operational oversight. Caroline previously worked for Ipes in Guernsey from 1998 until 2001.
Caroline started her financial services career with Bacon and Woodrow in Guernsey in the pensions department, administering and valuing company pension schemes. She has also previously worked for Vantis plc, as a senior auditor, focusing on the financial services sector. Caroline has experience of both the offshore and onshore finance industry, and has also spent time working in Luxembourg for an Ipes client.
Caroline has a BA (Hons) in International Tourism and Hotel Management, is a qualified chartered accountant and is a full member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Simon Henin - Managing Director, Luxembourg
Simon Henin is the Managing Director for Ipes (Luxembourg) S.à r.l.. He is responsible for the set-up, management and development of the office.
Having worked in Luxembourg and the finance industry for more than 11 years, Simon has a wealth of knowledge about the jurisdiction and the funds related administration process.
Simon is a Chartered Accountant and ex-auditor and prior to joining Ipes, provided as an independent consulting and accounting service to fund promoters and financial services providers, with a focus in recent years on providing procedural frameworks for real estate fund and fund of funds. Simon holds a Master degree in Commercial and Financial sciences and is fluent in English and French.

Claire Kelly - Director, Jersey
Claire joined Ipes in 2009 and is a Director.
Claire is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and has more than 11 years experience within the Jersey financial services industry.
Before joining Ipes in 2009, Claire spent four years with Ogier Fiduciary Services in their fund administration and fund compliance teams. Prior to this Claire worked for three years as a fund accountant for AIB Jersey. Claire trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen.
Claire was appointed to the board of IPES (Jersey) Limited in April 2010.

Kenneth Whitney - Director, Jersey
Kenneth joined Ipes Jersey in 2008 and is a Director.
Kenneth joined Ipes Guernsey in 2007, before moving to our Jersey office and joining the board of IPES (Jersey) Ltd in 2008.
Kenneth started his career in a small private practice in Ireland and prior to moving to Guernsey in 1999 worked for Ernst & Young. Prior to joining Ipes, Kenneth worked at HSBC Securities Services Guernsey, Franklin Templeton in Luxembourg and Northern Trust Guernsey.
Kenneth has 11 years financial services experience spanning a diverse range of fund structures focusing primarily on the financial reporting requirements of those structures.
Kenneth was educated in Waterford, Ireland and was admitted as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2004.

Karen Haith - Director, Guernsey
Karen is a Director of Ipes having joined the Company in 2001.
Karen has worked in the offshore finance industry in Guernsey for 17 years. Her extensive experience includes all aspects of administration of varying types of private equity funds but with a particular focus on fund of funds. She is also very involved with professional training and training support for our staff. Karen’s previous experience includes working in trust and company administration and then as a fund accountant for an international bank.
Karen is a fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”) and was for the three years to June 2009 President of the ACCA Channel Islands Panel and now sits on the Executive Committee of the Guernsey Society of Chartered and Certified Accountants. In addition she is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (“ICSA”).

Sharon Alvarez - Director, Guernsey
Sharon is a Director of Ipes having joined the Company in June 2005.
Sharon is a Director of Ipes and joined the Company in June 2005; she also acts as a director on a number of general partner boards with a broad client base from the UK and Europe. In addition to her client responsibilities Sharon is responsible for technical and corporate governance matters with a focus on compliance with new regulation and legislation.
Previous to Ipes Sharon held a management position in Private Equity with Northern Trust. Sharon is both a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and an Associate of The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA). She has more than 25 years experience in the finance industry with 15 years spent at manager level. During her time in Private Equity Sharon has gained extensive working knowledge on a number of different fund structures across several jurisdictions.
